Operation Switch
We’re on a mission (many missions, actually) to change the way people use energy.
This summer, we’re introducing a new way to save energy with an online community experiment we’re calling Operation Switch.
Operation Switch is made up of energy-efficiency missions, each one with a super-simple thing for everyone to do (how simple? Check out our mission list and find out), and a number of days to do it.
These simple actions will have direct benefits for people who do them (lower energy use, for example), but the combined effort will definitely have an impact on the environment. At the end of each mission, we’ll be reporting how much energy we all saved together.
Once you’ve taken the step, you can report completing a mission via Twitter. We’ll put you on the public Twitter list of people who completed that mission, and we’ll keep a public Twitter list of people who have completed the most missions.
